COMMUNITY and VOCATIONAL : 2007-2008 We held a very successful Senior Citizens Pancake Day Afternoon Tea in Waterford's Woodland's Hotel. Almost 300 of the City's elderly joined us on Shrove Tuesday (February 8th) for music, dancing and refreshments. We were delighted to receive a number of phonecalls after the event to thank Rotary for what was considered to be a wonderful day. Many thanks to the management and staff at Woodland's Hotel, those who sponsored prizes, those who provided the entertainment, to all the committee members and, particularly, to Tony Fitzgerald for all the time and effort he has put into this day.
